What Does Bonum Magus Means?
The origin of the name Bonum Magus is a story that I’m delighted to share with you. As I sat in contemplation, seeking a name that would reflect the essence of my work, I found myself drawn to the Latin language. I had always been fascinated by the way Latin words could convey complex ideas and emotions with precision and elegance.
As I pondered the meaning I wanted to convey, I began to explore the concept of “good” or “goodness.” I wanted a name that would evoke a sense of positivity, of something that was not only beneficial but also uplifting and inspiring. I considered various words, but none seemed to capture the essence of what I was seeking.
It was then that I stumbled upon the Latin word “Bonum.” Ah, Bonum! What a beautiful word, I thought. It means “good” or “goodness,” but it’s more than that. It’s a word that conveys a sense of excellence, of something that is not only good but also noble and virtuous.
But I didn’t want to stop there. I wanted a name that would also reflect the idea of wisdom, knowledge, and of spiritual growth. That’s when I added the word “Magus” to Bonum. Magus, in Latin, means “wise one” or “sage.” It’s a word that evokes the idea of someone who has attained a high level of spiritual understanding and wisdom.
Together, Bonum Magus means “Good Wisdom” or “Noble Sage.” It’s a name that reflects my commitment to sharing knowledge and wisdom that is not only good but also uplifting and inspiring. It’s a name that reminds me of the importance of living a life of virtue, of striving for excellence, and of cultivating wisdom and spiritual growth.
For me, Bonum Magus is more than just a name - it’s a philosophy, a way of life.
